MAN UTD MOVE FOR RONALDO

Manchester United are hoping to exploit the relationship with Jose Mendes, as they aim to pinch Cristiano Ronaldo from under the noses of Juventus.

The Sun report United are keen on a reunion with Ronaldo, 33, and they have been informed that his proposed £88million switch to Turin is not yet done.

United are planning on hijacking the transfer and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is looking at what it would take for United to seal a deal.

Mendes is the representative of Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho and Woodward will enter talks with the super agent to try and facilitate a move.

United have long been rumoured to want a reunion with the Portugal despite their interest in Gareth Bale and Willian.

Apparently they have conceded they won’t be able to land Bale and they are not prepared to match Chelsea’s £70million asling price for the Brazil star.
